Lee Hoyeon, known in-game as "White Jack," starts playing the MMORPG Lunatic with a skilled friend but quits after struggling with controls and losing motivation. Years later, frustrated by repeated university entrance exams, he logs back in for stress relief and unexpectedly meets the game’s top-ranking player, Kim Heeho ("Monaka"). Despite his foul temper and aloof reputation, Heeho helps Hoyeon improve. When Heeho leaves his guild due to conflicts and joins "21," the small guild Hoyeon inherited, their ranking quickly rises. Rumors spread that they are dating since Heeho is uncharacteristically warm toward Hoyeon. To gain a game bonus, they register as an in-game couple, but no one believes it is just for the rewards. When a rival guild challenges them to a war, even the usually support-focused Hoyeon is forced to fight. He agrees to meet Heeho offline for training but instead receives a real-life confession. They begin dating. The twist is that Hoyeon has been using a female avatar. When Heeho proudly introduces his in-game partner, the truth comes out, sparking rumors that Hoyeon was pretending to be a girl. What started as a game partnership turns into a real relationship. But between guild conflicts, public scrutiny, and real-life pressures, Hoyeon struggles to keep up. With Heeho’s unwavering support, he fights to protect both their guild and their growing bond.
