On a Leash

Baek Dam treats contract worker Yeon-il like a chew toy: dumping work on him, humiliating him, even exposing his alcohol-related trauma in a drunken slip. So when Dam wakes up bound in an unfamiliar place, a dog collar locked around his neck and a bowl of kibble shoved in front of him, he realizes the leash has changed hands. Cornered by a cold, unreadable Yeon-il, Dam is forced into the role of “Yeon-il’s dog.” As control tightens, desire and resentment twist together, and suddenly the rules of dominance and control are no longer so clear.
